Evaluation & Treatment Planning

Your evaluation includes a PSA blood test, prostate ultrasound, uroflowmetry, and consultation with Dr. Han. Based on your results, a personalized treatment plan is recommended.

Visit 2 · Days 3

Rezūm™ Water Vapor Therapy

The procedure typically takes only 10–15 minutes and usually requires a single-day stay. After treatment, you can rest, recover, and enjoy your time in Korea while your prostate begins to heal.

Visit 3 · Days 7–14

Follow-up & Return Home

Before you travel home, Dr. Han confirms that your recovery is progressing well, removes the temporary catheter when appropriate, and verifies that you can urinate comfortably and safely on your own. You will also receive your English medical records before departure.

Q. Why Stay for One to Two Weeks?

After Rezūm™, a temporary urinary catheter is typically required for several days. Before international travel, Dr. Han personally confirms the catheter can be safely removed and normal urination has returned. We never recommend long-distance travel until these safety checks have been completed. Your recovery is just as important as your procedure.
